Cross Keys High School Alumni Association, Ltd.
Celebrating a Golden Legacy
Cross Keys High School opened its door to its first set of student on September 1, 1976. Since then, the school has shaped students who have gone on to lead, build, heal, protect, and innovate across Jamaica and around the world. Our alumni stand as living proof of what a strong education and a supportive community can make possible. Join us we return home August 2–8, 2026 to celebrate and reflect. This special Alumni Reunion and Community Celebration will feature a week of meaningful activities—worship, service, mentorship, fellowship, and celebration—honoring the legacy of Cross Keys while strengthening the future of the school and the community it serves.

Impact
For fifty years, Cross Keys High School has shaped minds, nurtured leaders, and strengthened the communities it serves. Our classrooms, clubs, and playing fields have produced educators, diverse professionals, entrepreneurs, artisans, thinkers, and nation-builders whose influence reaches far beyond our campus. Our legacy is rooted in service, excellence, and the transformative power of education. CKHSAAL aims to translate this legacy into positive action for our community and the nation.
Challenges
Our journey has not been without obstacles. Changing social conditions, the realities of rural life and the challenges of migration, have tested our commitment. Yet through every difficulty, the school has stood firm, as has its alumni. The challenges have shaped our character and strengthened our resolve to make a difference.

As we enter the next fifty years, the horizon is wide with opportunity. With stronger partnerships, deeper alumni engagement, and a renewed commitment to excellence, Cross Keys can become a model of rural education and community development. The future we imagine is within reach—one where every student thrives, every dream is nurtured, and every pathway leads to promise.

About CKHSAAL
The Association was initially established in 2010 as an independent body in support of the school and the community. Through various iterations and challenges, it has remained functional but in limited ways. Following three years under the dedicated leadership of Wayne Ellis, ’79, the current administration took office at the start of 2025 with a clear set of goals in sight as the school approaches its 50th anniversary in September 2026. This includes initiatives to establish scholarships and programs to support students’ development.
The Association is a registered Non -Profit Organization and conforms to relevant sections of the Companies Act 2004. The Association is mandated to always maintain a high level of professionalism and a strong positive image.
